Macintosh
- System Software: Mac OS 10.x or greater
- Other Software: QuickTime (part of Mac OS default installation)
- RAM: 256 MB (512 MB recommended)
- Hard Drive: 500 MB free
Windows
- System Software: Windows XP and later
- Other Software: QuickTime 3.0 or newer (If not present, this will be installed as part of automatic Picture Planner installation.)
- RAM: 256 MB (512 MB recommended; 1 GB recommended for Vista)
- Hard Drive: 500 MB free
You must install the program. It will not run directly from the CD

Macintosh Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT:
- You must have the Arial font installed in order to view Picture Planner cleanly. It is likely that you already have it installed but if not, you may download the Arial font for free at: http://download.microsoft.com/download/Office9Mac/Update/2.90/MacOS/EN-US/CoreFonts_update.bin
- Even if you don't have a printer attached to your computer, you must have one selected with the Printer Setup Utility.
Windows Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT:
- You must have QuickTime (version 3.0 or greater) installed. If you don't have it installed, the Picture Planner installer will install it for you. You may also download the latest version of QuickTime for free at: http://www.apple.com/quicktime
- Even if you don't have a printer attached to your computer, you must have one selected and set as your default printer. To set a default printer, go to the "Start" menu, select "Settings," and then select "Control Panel." Double click the "Printers" folder to open it. You should see a printer icon with a checkmark on it. If you have a printer icon, but it doesn't have a black arrow on it, use your right mouse button to click on the printer icon. Select "Default Printer"
